ORANGE CITY-DOOR KNOB TO NOWHERE???

Orange city-i found soo much to do and interesting too! to start with, I attended an awesome art show-which i shared already. afterwards, i got to eat with some of Shelbi's friends! the weather was a bit chilly n i dont have a coat?? hint hint (maybe the mesheck family can make us all some) but i begged so shelbi took me to the city park and around the college campus. 1st i learned how the city is made up of mostly dutch families n that they have a tulip festival in the spring S0 sorry to say i will miss that one! they have great sops down town. my fav was the bakery.....they make everything from good coffee to pretty dutch letter pasteries. the city park has a huge wooden play area with lots of things to do. i think i like the slides the best! once i was full and rested from the park we went for a walk to see the sites. they have a real windmill that was brought across the ocean and rebuilt. they have a replica windmill in the park and another one on the corner downtown. the one downtown you can open these doors and go inside. there is a surprise in there that you dont see much in small towns anymore. IT'S A PHONE!! NEAT HUH!? last of all she took me past the orange water tower that stores the clean water for the city. it is bright orange and looks like a door knob. some students call it the door knob to boredome or the doorknob to nowhere but i sure found alot of GREAT places to see and even more friendly people to talk with! thanks shelbi!
